Making a Splash

You are cordially invited to join members of the local swimming community for a reception and recognition ceremony celebrating the work of black swim instructors in the Louisville area.

Since 2018, Central Adult Learn-to-Swim, Inc. has provided barrier-free access to equitable aquatic programs like adult swim lessons, aqua zumba, and more.

Five years and five hundred graduates later, we want to take an opportunity to recognize and celebrate each of the numerous instructors in our program who were once students themselves.

Additionally, there will be a special recognition by Louisville Metro Councilman Ben Reno-Weber for Necolle Banks for her work as a swim instructor within our program, at Lakeside Swim Club, and throughout the community with her business, Nikki B Aquatics.
